Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas colourwashed, and features pantiled roofs, although the front range has 20th-century tiles. The building is two storeys high and has an L-shaped layout. The main facade is symmetrical with three bays, showcasing 20th-century three and four-light casements set in original segmental headed openings. There is a central panelled door surrounded by a door surround with shallow pilasters and a key block. The eaves display brick dentil detailing, and the gables are parapeted with internal chimney stacks. Attic casements are present in the gables, and there is a catslide roof at the rear. The lower two-storey rear wing has a hipped roof covered in red pantiles and features 20th-century casements, some of which have leaded glazing. The upper floor of the rear wing contains a cock-fighting pit with a viewing balcony.
