Description
Cossey Corner Farm Cottages is a farmhouse from the 18th century that has been divided into separate units. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with five bays. The ground floor has 20th-century replacement cross-casements in the original openings, and the openings on this level are topped with keyed rubbed arches. A platband runs around the first floor level and continues around the gables. The first floor openings have wooden lintels. The central doorway features two large raised and fielded panels and a moulded architrave. The gables are parapeted and have been rebuilt with internal stacks. The eaves are moulded brick that overhangs the parapets, and there is a sawtooth brick eaves course on the west side, which is partly covered by a later lean-to with a catslide roof. The lean-to has two chimney stacks, 20th-century casements, and two entrance doors.
