Description
Jubilee House Restaurant, Norfolk Craft Shop, and Antique Shop is a building likely dating from the 17th century, constructed of clay lump and timber framing, and refronted in 19th century red brick. It features a low-pitched pantile roof with gable ends. The antique and craft shops occupy two storeys with four windows, which are small sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor showcases moulded terra cotta keyblocks and glazed doors. The Jubilee Restaurant on the left has a large shaped gable with a terra cotta panel dated 1897, along with a small attic oriel below. The first and second floors have three-light sashes and brick pilasters. A continuous band of terra cotta runs across the front, with a guilloche pattern on the ground floor. The building has a brick chimney stack on the south side featuring three octagonal brick shafts. Inside, notable features include a round-headed niche with pilastered jambs and keyblock, shaped shelves, a staircase with a moulded string, turned balusters, panelled newels, and fielded-panel doors.
