Description
Watton Road Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a mid-19th century addition on the west end. It features a red brick facade and a thatched roof with gabled ends. The original part of the house has two storeys and two windows with three-light casements. The mid-19th century addition, also in red brick and with a matching thatched roof, has one window with three-light casements and a two-storey gabled porch that projects from the front, featuring a glazed and panelled door. There are three diagonally set brick chimney stacks, two of which have two shafts. At the rear of the original part, there is a gable-ended wing that is roughcast with a thatched roof. Inside, the farmhouse has a heavy floor beam and joists, as well as a stop-chamfered beam.
