Description
Church Farmhouse is a timber-frame house dating to the 16th and 17th centuries. The south end of the house has been faced with brick. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends, and a brick chimney stack positioned off-centre. The house is two storeys high with an attic, featuring an attic window in one gable end. There are three widely spaced windows on the front elevation. The windows are largely modern reproductions with five lights, with one original three-light window on the right. A plank door is located on the right-hand side. At the rear (west), one original window with six lights remains. A one-storey and attic wing extends from the rear (west), constructed with plastered timber-frame and a pantile roof with a gable end. The wing is L-shaped on plan.
