Description
The Church of All Saints is a Grade I listed building located on Church Road in Wacton. The church features a 12th-century round tower with a later recessed top, while the rest of the structure is primarily from the 14th century. It has a tall Decorated style nave and chancel that are combined into one space, distinguished by five large north and south windows, each with two lights, ogee heads, and reticulated tracery. The doorways are also ogee arched, with the original south door being particularly large and adorned with impressive ironwork. Inside, there are sedilia and a piscina, both featuring ogee heads. The church includes a Perpendicular octagonal font decorated with four lions at the base and four lions and angels on the bowl. A tall Decorated screen is present, along with an early 18th-century communion rail that has thin twisted balusters and an 18th-century altar table.
