Description

Stuart House is a 17th century timber-framed house that is plastered. It features a thatched roof with gabled ends and has an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building is one storey with an attic and includes two gabled dormers. The windows are modern casements with glazing bars and dripmoulds. There is a plank door located in front of the stack, which has a fire insurance plaque above it. A later wing has been added to the south end of the house; this wing is also one storey with an attic and has a pantile roof with a gabled end.
