Description

Owl Cottage is a 17th and 18th century timber-frame cottage, now rendered. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and a brick chimney stack positioned off-centre. The cottage is one storey high with an attic space. Two 19th-century gabled dormers are present, featuring shaped barge boards. The windows are 19th-century casements with glazing bars. A 19th-century pilastered doorcase, complete with a cornice and glazed door, is situated in front of the chimney stack. A modern lean-to has been added to the south end. The building exhibits group value.
