Description

The Wilderness is a timber-frame house, likely dating from the 17th century. It is plastered with some timber framing exposed. The roof is covered in pantiles and has gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is located near the west end. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two modern flat-roofed dormers. It has four windows, fitted with late 19th-century mullion and transom casements. A 19th-century gabled porch is present, as is a 19th-century brick extension to the east end.
