Description

The Maltings, located adjoining the north-west of Maltby House, is a former maltings building from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a long range that faces the road, topped with a slate hipped roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with eight widely spaced window bays. Under the eaves, there are seven small louvred openings. The first floor includes six small casement windows and one larger casement window that serves as a loft door. On the ground floor, there are three doors, including one wide vehicular entrance, all fitted with single plank doors.
