Description
The Steward's House is a house dated 1749, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. It features three bays and two storeys, with internal stacks at each end and gable parapets. The building has a platband, coloured headers, and brick tumbling into the gables. On the ground floor, there are three double casements set under cambered arches, and a 20th-century gabled brick porch located between the second and third bays. The first floor also has three double casements. The left side of the house includes an attic window with the initials I W M (I W Marsham) and the year 1749 in iron. The right side has a two-light casement on the ground floor and an attic window. At the rear, there is a continuous 19th-century lean-to under pantiles, with varied window styles, including two two-light casements on the first floor.
