Description
The Old Hall is a 17th-century T-plan brick house located on Colney Watton Road. It has a pantiled roof and has been extensively refurbished in the late 19th century and around 1980. The house features a two-storey projection in the center of the main wing, which was originally intended for the staircase. There is a cross wing that was added slightly later. The brickwork is in English bond. The building has 20th-century sash windows with glazing bars, which are topped with 19th-century moulded brick pediments. A 19th-century porch with a crow-stepped gable adds to its character. The main gables are also crow-stepped, and the house has a steep-pitched roof with Tudor-style chimneys.
