Description
Nos 3 and 5 Broad Street are 18th-century buildings located in Harleston, constructed of red brick. They feature a moulded brick eaves cornice and a tiled hipped roof, with two storeys and an attic. Number 3 has three sash windows with glazing bars set in exposed casings, a central doorcase with pilasters and an entablature, a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, and a fielded panel door. It also includes a flat-roofed dormer. Number 5 has two first-floor casement windows, a ground-floor sash window with glazing bars, a fielded panel door, and a Victorian pilastered shop front with an entablature. The right-hand return of Number 5, facing Union Street, features a splayed shop window with glazing bars and a modillion cornice.
