Description
Easton Hall, part of the Norfolk College of Agriculture, is an 18th-century house that underwent significant refurbishment in the early 20th century. It is constructed of white-washed brick and features a pantiled roof, forming an irregular U shape. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with a total of seven bays. Notable features include two early 20th-century bay windows, one rectangular and one circular, as well as a two-leaf panelled front door with oval lights and diagonally set glazing bars. The windows are early 20th-century casements with mullions and arched transoms. The exterior is adorned with a bracketed cornice, crow-stepped gables, and lead down-pipes that have decorative hoppers. There are modern extensions at the rear. Inside, there is a staircase with twisted balusters and a brick vaulted room in the cellar. The initials R.E.P. are found on one of the hoppers.
