Description

Thurlings Farmhouse is probably an early 17th-century timber-framed house. In the 19th century, it was faced with red brick and the roof was altered with the addition of a lower pitched pantile roof with gabled ends. The house is a long, two-story structure with four widely spaced windows. It has small 19th-century casement windows. A 19th-century gabled porch is situated in front of a brick chimney stack which is slightly off-centre. Inside, the house features stopped and chamfered ceiling beams and a staircase against the chimney stack. A modern lean-to has been added to the rear.
