Description

Clintergate Farmhouse is a late 16th-century building, with later alterations, located in Redenhall with Harleston. The farmhouse is timber-framed and has a roughcast finish. It is characterised by a steeply pitched pantile roof, which is black glazed, with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high with attics, which are lit by windows in the gable ends. It has five bays, featuring three- and four-light casement windows. A projecting two-storied gabled wing is situated to the right of centre, and contains sash windows with glazing bars. A modern porch has been added to the left side of the building. A large brick chimney stack is a prominent feature, featuring six moulded round flues topped with octagonal moulded caps.
