Description
North Green Farmhouse is a 16th or 17th century house with a plastered timber frame. It features a modern steeply pitched tiled roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with an attic, which includes a window in the end gable. The east front has a blank wall, but on the far right, there is a wood mullion and transom casement window on the first floor, along with a modern casement window on the ground floor. A central brick chimney stack is present.
Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timber framing and a blocked moulded six-light window with a mullion. The rear wing, likely from the 16th century, is constructed of red brick and has a steep roof with a coped gable end, featuring new tiles and brick dentil eaves. This wing also has two storeys and an attic, with casement windows and an interior that includes stop-chamfered beams.
