Description

Cranes Farmhouse is a timber-frame house that likely dates from the 17th century or earlier. The east side is faced in painted brick, and it features a steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles, with the south end being slightly lower than the north. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows and an adjoining plank door. The first floor also has two three-light casement windows, along with a small original three-light mullion window. A central brick chimney stack is present, and there is a lean-to on the north end.
