Description

Nos. 3 to 5 Dove Street is a former building of unknown use, now functioning as a shop. It dates from the 17th and 19th centuries and is constructed of painted and red brick, with the roof not visible. Originally, it was a single building that was divided into two in the 19th century. No. 3 is four storeys tall, plus a cellar, featuring two bays with 19th-century sash windows that have glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. No. 5 is three storeys tall, also plus a cellar, with two bays from 19th-century sash windows that have glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. Inside, there is one encased and one 17th-century cross beam with nicked end stops on the first floor.
