Description

No. 8, Ber Street is a former public house, now used as offices. The building dates from the 16th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is rendered, with a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and features four widely spaced first-floor windows. The front of the building retains features of its former use as a public house, with two entrances and three windows between them. Steps lead up to both doors, and a carriage entry is located at the extreme right. Sash windows are present throughout, with leaded glass on the ground floor. A box cornice runs along the top of the building.
