Description
Grove Terrace is a terrace of four houses built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with rendered details and feature a hipped slate roof with seven brick chimneys. They are two storeys tall and have eleven first-floor windows. The bays of the terrace are defined by pilasters. There are steps leading up to three deeply recessed panelled doors, which are part-glazed, and have plain overlights. These doors are flanked by pilasters that support plain entablatures and small hoods. The entrance to No. 41 is from the right side. Most windows are large-paned sashes with horns, while the first-floor windows of No. 45 have glazing bars. The terrace has a moulded cornice beneath a rendered parapet, which features a squat central pediment and laurel wreaths below scalloped acroteria.
