Description

No. 106, Oak Street is a building of group value, originally of unknown use and now converted into flats. Further alterations were made in the 19th century, and the building was renovated in the 20th century. The exterior is rendered and the roof is covered in pantiles. It is three storeys high, with a jettied first floor. A 19th-century shopfront with eight panes of glazing bars is present. A yard entrance is located at the extreme right of the building. The windows are sash windows, featuring simply moulded surrounds. A moulded stringcourse runs between the first and second floors. A moulded box cornice tops the building.
