Description

98 and 100 Oak Street is a building that dates back to around 1600, with heightening that occurred in the 17th century. It has had rear additions made in the 19th century and underwent renovations in the 20th century. The exterior is rendered and features pantiles. The building stands three storeys high and has a jettied first floor. There are five windows on the second floor and a central door framed with simple moulding. A yard entry is located at the extreme right. Throughout the building, there are casement windows, and it is topped with five gablets that have bargeboards. The former use of the building is unknown, and it is currently divided into flats.
