Description

The gatepieces and forecourt walls to Number 256 are two 17th-century ashlar gatepiers featuring moulded caps, accompanied by a 20th-century iron overthrow. The flint rubble walls, which have been largely rebuilt, include brick coping on both the right and left sides. These elements are included for their group value.
