Description
The Flint boundary wall encloses the remains of St Mary's Friary and extends from the rear of No 6 Market Place to a point roughly opposite the rear of No 2 Church Street. The wall encloses an area of about one hectare. There is a doorway in the east wall featuring moulded stone jambs, although the head of the doorway is missing. The walls to the east and west are medieval, while those to the north and south are likely from a later period. For further details, refer to Norfolk Archaeology, Volume XXV, page 227.
