Description

This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of eight cottages located on Albert Street. The cottages are constructed of uncoursed flint cobbles with brick dressings. They feature brick quoins, a brick plinth, eaves dentils, and a pantile hipped roof. The two-storey terrace has a sixteen-window front, with each bay containing two windows; the first floor has a blind bay above the doorway. All windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows are topped with segmental brick arches. The doorways have various doors, some of which are modern. There are four brick chimney stacks. The terrace is included on the list for its contribution to the streetscape.
