Description

Crabbe's Castle Farm Cottages are a pair of cottages dated 1878. They have walls made of rendered concrete and a roof covered with flattened pantiles. Each cottage is two storeys high and consists of one bay, with recessed two-storey wings that have rear entrances. The cottages feature three-light and two-light cast iron casement windows with glazing bars, and they have a moulded eaves cornice. There are central and gable end stacks located only on the central block. They are listed for their early use of mass concrete construction.
