Description
Vere Lodge is a house dating to circa 1800. It is constructed of whitewashed brick, with flint dressings to the west service wing, and has slated roofs. The house has two storeys and three bay fronts. The front entrance has two ground-floor and three first-floor sash windows with glazing bars, with one tripartite window. A central door has switch tracery in its fanlight. A wooden eaves cornice sits above, and the roof is hipped with three chimney stacks. The south front has three bays and features three ground-floor and three first-floor sash windows with glazing bars, along with blind boxes. The north front similarly has two ground-floor and three first-floor sash windows, and a tripartite door with a fanlight featuring switch tracery.
