Description

21 and 22 East Raynham is a lodge to Raynham Hall, built around 1840. The structure is made of knapped, unsquared flint with brick dressings and has slated roofs. It is one and a half storeys high, featuring two ground-floor and two first-floor casements, each with two lights, located under dormer gables. The building has brick rustication and dressings around the openings, a wooden eaves cornice with dentils, and a hipped roof with a central brick stack. To the north, there is a single-storey gabled bay window, and to the south, a gabled service wing, both of which are also single storey. Originally, it was built as two cottages with rear entrances.
