Description

Foundry House is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a red pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and includes three sash windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors. There is a central door from the 20th century, which is set within a 20th-century glazed porch. The brick dressings around the openings, a brick dentil cornice, and end quoins add to its architectural detail. The roof has two ridge stacks and is hipped at the south end, which has a returned facade.
