Description

The Church of St. Margaret is a ruin located in West Raynham. It features a west tower, nave, north aisle, and chancel, constructed from flint with brick and stone dressings. The tower includes a north doorway and the jambs of the tower arch leading to the nave. The nave has two or three bays, and the chancel also has two or three bays along with a north chancel chapel. There is a south chancel priest's door, and the south jamb of the Perpendicular chancel arch remains, alongside a significant amount of collapsed cut-stone. In the nave, part of a shaft and capital, as well as two sections of the base of a Perpendicular octagonal pier, have collapsed.
