Description
Nos 2 to 6 (even) are a pair of gates and gate piers located to the west on Bridewell Street in Little Walsingham, built in 1840. The structure is made of red brick and features a black-glazed pantile roof. It has brick dentil eaves and stands two storeys tall, with a string course at floor level. The building consists of three bays with flat rubbed brick window arches; the center window on the first floor and the right-hand window on the ground floor are blocked. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. There is a central segmental-headed doorway that has a boarded door, and a central brick chimney stack. The entrance gateway to the west includes simple mid-19th century iron gates with spear-headed shafts, flanked by brick and flint gate piers.
