Description

John Brown's House is an 18th-century brick house with a pantile roof. It features a two-storey facade with five bays. The windows are 20th-century sash windows with horns, set beneath flat rubbed and gauged brick arches. There are pilasters with moulded brick capitals at the corners and between the third and fourth bays. The house has a parapet and an axial stack positioned above the pilaster, along with an internal stack on the left-hand gable end. The left-hand gable wall includes a brick plinth, and the gable exhibits tumbling-in.
