Description

Cricketers on the Green is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a pantiled roof. The facade consists of four bays and the building stands two storeys high, with a rendered plinth. There are doorways in the center two bays, which have 19th-century panelled doors. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, including three sash windows with glazing bars on the upper floor. The building has parapet gables and internal gable end stacks. There is a 20th-century lean-to at the front and a 19th-century wing at the rear, neither of which holds special interest. This building is included for its group value.
