Description

16 New Street is a mid-19th century building constructed of red brick and cobbled flint, topped with a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high with a red brick facade featuring three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and have flat rubbed brick arches above them. The central doorway is framed by a semi-circular rubbed brick arch in two orders and includes a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing bars. There is a blind central window opening on the first floor. The building has a bracketed eaves overhang and a gable chimney stack. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension, and a modern extension has been added to the south.
