Description
Testerton House is a house from the mid-18th century, featuring two storeys and seven bays. The ground floor has six sash windows with glazing bars, all set beneath cambered brick arches. On the first floor, there are seven sash windows, five of which retain their original thick glazing bars. A plat-band runs along the first floor, topped by a cornice made of four courses of brick, which includes 19th-century dog-tooth moulding. The house has a 19th-century hipped slate roof. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century pedimented pentice canopy. The east gable is from the 20th century, while the west gable dates to the 19th century. There is an off-ridge stack on the west side and a 20th-century parapet stack on the east side.
