Description
49 and 49A Bull Street is an 18th-century building constructed of colourwashed brick with a grey pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and features sash windows with glazing bars, along with a blocked central opening at floor level. The doorcase, located on the right-hand side, is supported by scroll brackets. There is a later shopfront added to No 49. The eastern gable is coped and parapetted, displaying the line of an earlier gable where tumbling is still visible. The building has two gable chimney stacks and a colourwashed brick and flint catslide extension to the north. The windows include both sashes and casements, with one casement featuring a leaded light.
