Description
An early 19th century pair of houses stands on Bull Street. The buildings are constructed of red brick with a black-glazed pantile roof. They feature brick pilasters at the corners and along the party wall. The houses are two storeys high and have sash windows with flat, rubbed arches above. A shopfront was added later to number 45. Number 47 has a central doorway containing an elliptical rubbed arch and a fanlight with radial glazing bars. Brackets are arranged in pairs along the eaves. Chimney stacks are present at the east and west gable ends, and also in line with the party wall. The gables are coped and parapetted.
