Description
Nos 9 and 11 on Bridge Street are two cottages built with flint and brick rubble, featuring brick dressings. They have a roof covered in red pantiles and consist of two bays across two storeys, with lean-to outshuts on both the north and south sides. The cottages have black painted plinths. The ground floor has 20th-century casement windows with brick surrounds and arched heads. The upper floor features one casement window and one blank window. There are 20th-century doors with brick surrounds and arches. The buildings have brick quoins, a dentil cornice, a hipped roof, and a central stack. The lean-to outshut is at right angles to the main structure, made of flint and pantiled, with one 20th-century casement window in its original opening. These cottages are included for their group value.
