Description
No. 15 Bridge Street is a cottage dating from around 1840. It features walls made of pebble flint with red brick dressings and a roof covered in red pantiles. This cottage is part of a terrace that was previously used for multiple occupations. The building is two stories high with a single bay end gable facing Bridge Street. The ground floor has a sash window with glazing bars, while the first floor also has a sash window with glazing bars, each consisting of three large panes in each half. The corners of the building are quoined, and the window surrounds are blocked, with rubbed brick flat arches above the windows. The south facade displays pebble and brick dressings extending to a depth of four bays, with the southern bay and a former outhouse constructed from rubble flint with gault dressings. The presence of rubble and random flint suggests evidence of an earlier structure. The building has a hipped gable facing the street and a stack located on the ridge. It is included for its group value.
