Description
Homestead Farm House is an 18th-century house located on The Street in Erpingham. It is built of brick with a pantile roof and has a rectangular plan with an outshut at the rear. The house features five bays and two storeys. The central entrance has a moulded brick doorcase with pilasters and a pediment, although this has been partly blocked to create a window. The original openings have C20 casements beneath rubbed and gauged flat brick arches. There are two internal gable stacks, and the right-hand gable incorporates a fossilised shaped gable with a moulded brick platband. A lean-to on the right and the outshut at the rear are of no special interest.
