Description
Nos 31 and 33 on London Road are early 19th-century buildings that stand two stories tall. They are constructed from carstone with buff brick dressings and feature a shallow pitch, hipped slate roof with wide eaves soffits. The buildings have balanced chimneys and three sash windows on the first floor, which include glazing bars and are set in arched recessed panels. The central entrance is arched and has a radial bar fanlight, also within an arched recessed panel. For No 33, the entrance is located in the center of a three-bay return to the west, featuring a six-panel door with a radial bar fanlight. There is a small one-story wing on each side at the rear, facing south.
