Description

Former Howdale Lodge is a pair of square lodge buildings from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of carstone with buff brick dressings and have one storey with slate roofs. The north building features a gabled entrance, while the south building has an overgrown front. These lodges hold amenity value at the entrance to the garden. They are part of a group that includes Nos 17 to 25 (odd), the Former National School, and No 10 Howdale Road.
