Description

The Magistrates Court Complex, built in 1861, is constructed from buff brick with stucco dressings. The main building features three large arched windows with glazing bars, adorned with stucco archivolts and keys beneath the eaves cornice. It has a hipped slate roof. The wings of the building have flat roofs, including a one-storey entrance projection that is highlighted by rusticated pilasters. Above the central entrance, there are sculptured royal arms positioned above the main cornice.
