Description
London Lode Hall is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a dormer attic, with a symmetrical west front that consists of three bays. The central entrance has a panelled door topped by a four-vaned fanlight. The sash windows, which retain their original glazing bars, are set beneath gauged segmental arches. The roof has a plain parapet and a Mansard design, which includes three gabled dormers with casements. Internally, there are gable end stacks, and to the south, there is an additional external stack that serves a lean-to single-storey extension attached to the gable wall. The east facade features a central two-storey porch and corner pilasters, with three bays of sash windows that also retain their original glazing bars under gauged segmental arches, along with three gabled dormers in the roof.
