Description
Ralingham Hall is a farmhouse dating from around 1660, located on the bank of the Old Croft River. The building has been extended and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of soft red brick with thick mortar courses in English bond. The roof is slate, although it was originally thatched, and features saw tooth eaves cornice and end parapets supported by moulded brick kneelers. The structure has two storeys and attics, with three dormers that have stepped gable ends. The two storeys are framed by rusticated plaster and separated by a plain band. There are three casement windows from the 20th century, and a central doorway that includes a 20th-century brick porch.
