Description

The building is a stable range, likely constructed around 1793 by Samuel Wyatt for the Holkham Estate, situated south of Leicester Square Farmhouse. It is built of English bond red brick with red plain tiles and pantiles. At the east end is a two-storey granary tower, featuring a central, blank plastered oculus surrounded by four keystones, with returns displaying first-floor plat-bands. The granary has a hipped roof. The stable range to the west incorporates a later 19th-century gable and a cottage alteration. The building is listed for its group value as part of the symmetrical model farm layout, balancing with a less altered range to the north.
