Description

Lodge Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys, with a door located to the left of centre beneath a gabled hood. To the right of the door, there is one sash window with renewed glazing bars, and on the first floor, there are two sash windows. The gabled roof features parapets on kneelers and has external gable stacks. There is a one-storey outshut extension to the north, and at the rear, there is a two-storey extension with a catslide roof. This rear extension has one sash window on the ground floor and two casement windows, while the first floor has three sashes, all from the 19th century and featuring glazing bars.
