Description

The Church of All Saints is a parish church originally built in the 15th century. The tower fell in 1578, and the nave was rebuilt in the 18th century. The nave and chancel were entirely reconstructed by W.J. Donthorn in 1848. The church features a combination of ashlar, clunch, and flint with slate roofs. The west wall has stepped angle buttresses and a central portico porch. At the apex of the western gable, there is a single bellcote.

On the south side of the nave, there are three 2-light windows set between the stepped buttresses, featuring cusped lights below flamboyant tracery heads, with moulded jambs and hood on head stops. The north nave has four similar windows and a parapet. The nave roof is gabled, and a large gabled vestry obscures much of the south chancel, which is accessed through an arched doorway in the west wall. The south gable wall has three irregularly spaced lancets, and there is one 2-light chancel south window matching those of the nave. The chancel also has angle buttresses.

The east window is a 4-light window by W.F. Cullyer of Norwich, featuring a geometric layout and flamboyant tracery details, with moulded jambs and hood. There are two 2-light north chancel windows that match the others. The interior reflects the 19th-century reconstruction, featuring an octagonal font with tracery in the style of the windows and open timber roofs adorned with shields.
