Description

No. 28, St James' Street is an early 19th-century shop and flat. The building is constructed of brick with a slate roof. It features an early 20th-century plate-glass shopfront, complete with prominent canopy carriers. The first floor has three horned sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a gauged skewback arch. An ovolo modillion eaves cornice runs below the gabled roof, which is punctuated by a single gabled dormer with a sash window.
